This was a 20-page take-away booklet of recipes for an event in Arizona hosted by Jeff Jackson, executive chef of The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ signature restaurant, A.R. Valentien. It was reprinted several times for subsequent events. I loved designing this piece, with elements reminiscent of a Tuscan garden. See the entire book here.
Originally intended as a simple folded Christmas card for my family, it turned into a 16-page, hand-assembled hardcover collection of quotations and original prose. See the entire book here.

A 120-page book (so much more than an almanac!) illustrated with hundreds of etchings. Created before eBooks were thought of, it’s truly what book design was all about. Take a look inside.
An 8-page birthday “card” with a poem inside by Jack Kerouac.

This started out a simple 4-page newsletter for The Lodge at Torrey Pines, and eventually grew into a 20-page publication, complete with upscale advertising. See the entire magazine.
